Solid backup SaaS, check restore time
Looked at DBVault for our Supabase backups. Setup is fast, agentless for cloud DBs, and the dashboard is clearer than the AWS native equivalent. Worth testing restore time end to end against your DB size before committing because that varies more than they advertise. Pricing is fair though I would like to see a clearer indicator of egress costs for restores.

Set and forget DB backups done right
Run a small SaaS with Postgres and Mongo and was managing backups via cron and a bucket. Switched to DBVault and the operational overhead dropped to nothing. Scheduled and on demand backups both work, restore tested clean on a staging env. GCP destination is a nice touch if you are already in that ecosystem. Pricing scales reasonably with database size.

Replaced our backup cron with one config
Spent two months trying to get cron based Postgres backups reliable on multiple environments and DBVault collapsed it to a single dashboard. Backups land in GCP without me thinking. Restore tested clean. Worth every cent for the operational peace of mind alone.

Set it once, stopped thinking about backups
My side project has real users now and I had been losing sleep over the backup situation. DBVault took about 20 minutes to set up across Postgres and Supabase. Now I get a quiet email when backups run and that is it. The cost is less than the therapy session I would have needed.
